For access to the event Patrons must comply with the event rules.
Firstly, an event badge must be worn at all times. Those not wearing a badge will be refused entry or ejected.
Secondly, all patrons must bring a teddy bear. Those without a bear will not be permitted entry. Remember, you are a guest of the bear you are accompanying.
Dress Code
Dress Code
For access to the event, Patrons must comply with the dress code. Those not wearing appropriate attire will not be permitted entry, or be ejected from the enclosure.
The dress code is either:
- Formal jacket / blazer (preferrably striped), with a boater hat.
- A summer dress, with hat, and parasol.
Access to the Teddy Bears’ Picnic by Badge Holders Only. Terms Apply. Great Farley Estate Reserves the Right to Exclude Patrons.

Be vigilant. Patrons should beware of the wolves that steal away teddy bears.
Stewards are on hand to chase the wolves away. If a wolf manages to steal your bear, there is a forfeit for its rescue.
Information for Visitors
Parking
Parking is available at the Great Farley Country Estate for the use of patrons attending an event. The event enclosures are under five minutes walk from each of the designated car parks.
A parking permit will be issued to patrons in advance of the event, indicating the specific car park to use: Gate A, Gate B, or Gate C. Patrons are required to park in their designated car park.
Patrons must ensure that other vehicles and emergency vehicles have the space to easily pass by their vehicles. Kindly allow sufficent distances between each vehicle when parked.
A permit must be displayed in patrons’ car windscreens at all times, so that the owner can be quickly identified and contacted, if circumstances require it.
Those patrons choosing to stay the night in the wider locality are permitted to leave their cars for the entirety of their stay.
Patrons must not leave their vehicles on the public lane, as the police will tow it away or issue a penalty.
Cars are parked at owners risk. No liability is accepted for loss or damage to vehicles, contents or personal belongings.
